ATTORNEY

Alexandria Goff, Esq.

Alexandria, also known as ‘Ali,’ is the founder of Goff Legal, PC, a law firm focused on estate planning and probate & estate administration matters. Ali is known for her in-depth knowledge and expertise with wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, and her love for animals lends itself to also helping clients with pet planning and pet trusts. 

Proud of her Placer roots, she grew up in Placer County and received a bachelor’s degree from Sacramento State and a Juris Doctor from University of California, Davis. She was drawn to estate planning to help protect people and their families and provide peace of mind so they avoid complications for generations to come.

She is a frequent presenter for the Professional Fiduciary Association of California, the Probate Section of the Placer County Bar and the National Business Institute. Ali is passionate about helping others. She is a certified performance coach, helping women and business owners with their professional endeavors and goals.

Ali lives in Loomis with her husband, two sons and three cats. Away from the office, Ali enjoys visiting local restaurants, and traveling.

Michelle Martin

Michelle is an attorney with Goff Legal, PC. She is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. She has significant skill in estate planning, probate, trust administration, and both limited and general conservatorship matters. 

Michelle has served as court-appointed counsel and Guardian Ad Litem in Sacramento County for probates, contested trust matters, and conservatorship matters. She has served on the Board of the Lincoln Community Foundation, and as Chair of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the Placer County Bar Association. 

Michelle is a second generation Sacramentan. She earned her Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law and her B.A. in Government with a concentration in International Relations from Sacramento State University.

In her free time, you can find Michelle hiking, camping, kayaking the American River, traveling to locations feared by her parents, and enjoying a delicious craft beer.

Lindsay Barnes Watkins

Lindsay is an attorney at Goff Legal working with clients on estate planning and the probate process. She brings additional specialties to the Goff Legal team with extensive background in Veterans Affairs planning and a focus on matters that involve court processes.

Lindsay has served in the U.S. Army and the California Army National Guard, and she is currently an officer for the Army Reserve. She earned her Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, and her bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice from the University of Nevada, Reno.

FIRM ADMINISTRATOR 

Miriam Goff

Miriam is the Firm Administrator for Goff Legal. She oversees day-to-day operations, including accounting, finances, and data management. Miriam earned a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from the University of California, Davis and a master’s degree in Information Science from the University of Texas at Austin. During her downtime, she enjoys napping with her cats, good food and live bluegrass music.

Tracy Wilson

Managing PARALEGAL • SERVING SOUTH PLACER COUNTY 

Tracy Wilson

Tracy brings not only an unmatched breadth of paralegal experience to Goff Legal but an inspiring energy. She excels at managing cases from conservatorships, court supervised trusts, and probates. 

She is responsible for case management and organization, including supervision of team members, as well as ensuring all deadlines are met and clients are informed. 

Tracy is not only knowledgeable, she is also compassionate and cares about the clients and what they are going through. She works with them to keep them informed and keep the case moving forward. 

Tracy is a Disney fanatic and enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Rebecca Davis

With more than 20 years experience providing unparalleled customer support, Rebecca is the detail-oriented, calming voice of Goff Legal. As paralegal, Rebecca manages estate planning and signing, can answer any question about the process and will ensure each client’s paperwork is signed, sealed and delivered. 

Rebecca completed an associates degree at MTI College in paralegal studies. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her three daughters.

Administrative assistant • SERVING SOUTH PLACER COUNTY 

Megan Kaer

Megan Kaer is an administrative assistant at Goff Legal, supporting the team with client intake and serving as the friendly voice people hear when they call the office. 

 

With an extensive background in customer service, Megan is committed to quality service and helping clients feel supported through the estate planning process - which can often be daunting.

 

She earned her Associate of Arts degree from Inver Hills Community College in Minnesota and plans to obtain her bachelor’s degree from Sacramento State University with a major in Philosophy: Ethics and Law. Eventually, Megan hopes to attend law school.  

 

Megan credits her mother, a practicing family law attorney, for her work ethic. Seeing her mom’s hard work inspired Megan to become a strong, independent woman, and she aspires to be as gifted in her profession as her mother someday.
